The best day so far I have had is when my first client and I went to France for a day. I found out about a free bus service provided by Stanmore Hospital and persuaded the client’s brother to drive us. My client had not been out of the house for some time and it was really great to see the smile on his face and that made me feel brilliant!.

 

I am always recommending ENA to friends. It is a fabulous agency with very supportive staff, who will do their best for everyone involved. I have met some great carers during handovers—people who seem to really care about their clients.

 

My advice to anyone thinking of Working as a live-in carer is to find a good agency—such as ENA—be Prepared for hard work, it can be tough both physically and emotionally. And lastly enjoy yourself, you definitely get out what you put in.

 

The other great thing about ENA is the opportunity for completing an NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care Award. Being able to complete this in situ with a client is a great bonus coupled with the support and advice given by the staff, which has been second to none. Thank you all, keep it up!
