Here’s an example of a job description:

We are currently looking for a live-in carer for a lovely elderly lady in her 80’s. She lives in Hertfordshire, just north of London, and would like a carer to assist with light household duties, cooking, shopping and a small amount of personal care. She enjoys watching TV and reading.  She has a son and many close friends who live near her who either drop by to see her or who she enjoys visiting.  The successful applicant must be of kind nature, trustworthy and understand the needs of elderly people.

Testimonial:

“I worked with an elderly client of ENA’s and had such a lovely time getting to know her and her family and friends. Working so closely with someone really helps understand the clients needs and I got to know her so well, we actually developed a very close relationship, it will be hard when it’s time for me to move on”.
